How to create a read-only key on Binance

Site IP to bind the key to: 185.186.142.35

  1. Sign in to binance.com → profile icon → “API Management”.
  2. “Create API” → “System generated” → name → confirm with 2FA.
  3. In restrictions keep only “Enable Reading”. Do NOT enable trading (Spot, Futures, Margin), withdrawals or transfers.
  4. “Restrict access to trusted IPs only” → paste the site IP (shown in your cabinet) → “Confirm”.
  5. Copy the API Key and Secret Key — the secret is shown only once.
  6. Paste both into your cabinet: “Connect exchange”.
TipIf the exchange screen shows ticks for “Trade”, “Withdraw” or “Transfer”, untick them. The site checks the permissions automatically and tells you if anything extra is left.
